Instagram IGTV video downloader: what to know
IGTV was Instagram's long-video format and many of those videos still live at /tv/ links. Long videos on regular posts work the same way, so you can paste either kind of link here.
Long videos are big files. Start the download on a stable connection, and keep the tab open until the browser shows the file as finished.

Tips for better results
- Expect files from tens of megabytes to several hundred; check your free storage first.
- If the download stops halfway, start again from the button; nothing is stored on our side.
- Watch-time and captions are not part of the file. Only the video itself is saved.
- Respect creators: educational or commercial videos are often protected, so ask before reuse.

Frequently asked questions
Is IGTV still on Instagram?
Instagram merged IGTV into regular video posts, but older /tv/ links usually still open, and we accept them.
Why does a long video take time to start?
The file is passed through our server to your device. Large files need a moment before the browser starts saving.
What is the maximum video length?
We do not set a length limit. Your hosting connection, device storage and the source file decide what is practical.
Is this downloader free?
Yes. There is no fee, no account and no software to install. The site is supported by advertising.
Which links work?
Public Instagram links that contain /reel/, /reels/, /p/ or /tv/, and instagram.com/share/ links copied from the app. Links from private accounts do not work.
Can I download Stories, Highlights or private posts?
No. We cannot and do not access anything that requires a login. That includes Stories, Highlights and private accounts.
What quality will I get?
The best file Instagram provides for that post. We do not compress the video or add a watermark. If the source is low resolution, so is the download.
Do you store my videos or links?
We do not save downloaded media. The file passes through our server to your device. The media address is cached for about 20 minutes so repeat requests are fast, and short technical logs are kept for security. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Why do I see "We could not find a downloadable file"?
Usually the post is private, was deleted, is age or region restricted, or Instagram has not finished publishing it. Open the link in a private browser window to check. If it opens there and still fails, try again later.
Why am I told to wait a minute?
To keep the service available for everyone, each connection can look up about 10 new links per minute. Shared networks, such as mobile data, can reach this faster.
Is it legal to download Instagram content?
Saving a copy for personal, offline use is generally treated differently from re-publishing it, but the rules depend on your country and on who owns the content. Instagram's terms also apply. Always get permission before reposting, and credit the creator.
Use it responsibly
Instagram content belongs to its creators. Save a post for personal, offline viewing, or when you have the owner's permission. Do not re-upload other people's work as your own, and credit the creator when you share with permission. Copyright owners can ask us to remove links through our DMCA page.
